Good evening,

  1. Mac Pro 2009 flashed to macPro5,1 with High Sierra
  2. patcher version 1.4.4
  3. the latest version of Catalina downloaded (10.15.7 ?)
  4. after booting from USB, Disk Utility cannot see any drives and cannot mount them
  5. "Reinstall macOS" option does not work (title error appears)

I made 3 attempts according to the video guide.

Thanks to DosDude1 for a great job. --> It sounded like sarcasm, but of course it isn't, thank you really.

I changed the Catalina installer to version 10.15.5 and it works fine with patcher 1.4.4. I did everything the same as before.

Adams3232 commented 3 years ago

10.15.6 also work.

Seems to be a problem with the Catalina installer auto-downloaded by the v1.4.4 patcher.

I downloaded a copy of the latest Catalina installer direct from Apple Store and created working installer from it using v1.4.4 just fine.

To do this, I used a mac that already supports Catalina to download the latest version and create the boot disk
