Problems with Photos display-Catalina 10.15.7 #132

I installed Catalina 10.15.7 on a late 2009 iMac 27 with ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB graphics. Photos does not display the large image correctly. The thumbnails are displayed correctly. The large image is a distorted view of the thumbnail. I have installed patches twice. Screen Shot 2020-12-25 at 5 13 12 PM

Very simple. Catalina 10.15.7 uses 10-bit color depth but the HD4850 only support up to 8-bit. Just download the app ResXtreme and choose the same resolution but with 8-bit color and voila. You can thank me later ;)
