Parallels Access and Screen Recording permissions not working #156

Hello all. Thank you Dosdude1 for all of your hard work!

I recently used the current Catalina patcher on a 17" MBP 8.3 Late 2011 and have really been enjoying the new OS. This machine also has the Real Mac Mods hardware and software solution for the failed discrete GPU issue.

I have been unable to get Parallels Access to function due to its permissions request to allow Screen Recording not showing up in Security & Privacy panel. I have also tried a clean install of Catlina using the patcher with the only software installed being Parallels Access to no avail.

I have tried the solution presented in post #14 by a Parallels Team Member in the following thread on the Parallels Forum without any luck:

https://forum.parallels.com/threads/screen-recording-request-does-not-work.348453/

My last effort was direct contact with Parallels through a remote session ( using Support-LogMeInRescue which also did not show a request for Screen Recording in permissions pane) and they believe that the issue has to do with SIP being disabled. It is my understanding that SIP must be disabled in order for the patched system to work properly. Has anyone else encountered this issue or might be able to shed light on a potential solution? If there is no workaround, might someone tell me if they have had any success with some other remote desktop software after using the Catalina patcher? Thank you for your help in this matter.

similar to #89 a pre-metal issue. The applications you are using do not have the proper checks in place to handle non-metal GPUs, these applications will require either a patch or support from the developers.
