Whole Computer lags after installing Catalina Patcher on a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro 13 inch #160

Hello there, last week I bought a used Mid 2009 MacBook Pro 13 inch from Carousell. I changed out the old Hard Disk for a Samsung 240GB ssd and change out the 2GB of ram for a 4GB 1067mhz ram. The whole system seems to lags and hangs a lot. I've tried reinstalling the patcher and did a force rebuilt but the issue seems to stay. It is always plugged into the wall because I haven't buy a battery yet, the current one can't even hold a charge.

If I missed anything, please let me know as this is my first time doing this patcher.

Hello, 2GB of RAM is really too low for macOS Catalina. Did you keep your original mechanical hard disk or did you replace it by an SSD 10x faster? Kind regards PS: I did the Catalina upgrade on a MacBookPro 15" of 2009, with 4GB (2x2GB) and an SSD and it runs smoothly
