Catalina patcher dowloaded today (07/28/2023) AND Catalina installer downloaded from patcher.
Thus, the error described as "This happens when using a release of the macOS Catalina Installer App that is incompatible with the version of Catalina Patcher you are using. Download the latest Catalina Installer using the latest Catalina Patcher version" should not be the case.
Not sure - either patcher or installer version might have changed meanwhile...
