Html5Mode has changed to an object in 1.3 #120

I have not run the unit tests or anything, just edited directly on gitHub (and locally in the js file).

This change is required in multiple places, so perhaps we should encapsulate it a bit.

Rejecting this one for now as this is only a 50% fix. Created #121 in it's place.
