Don't downgrade from canary. The updater does not work on Linux on the current stable build of 7th Heaven, and also doesn't include 16:10 support.
Please post your 7thDeck.log
It's in the same directory as install.sh. If you already removed your 7thDeck folder and no longer have the log, just run install.sh again and install 7th Heaven to the same directory you used before.

Hi, thanks for putting 7thDeck together! Made it very easy getting things to work on my SteamDeck.
May not be related to 7thdeck but I had an issue where FF7 would no longer boot with the mods installed (and got stuck in a loop trying to downgrade from a canary build) I removed 7th deck from my steamdeck by removing the directory (not sure how else to cleanly uninstall it) then reinstalled, using just a few mods.
Now even with no mods enabled 7th heaven wont launch, (but will if I launch from the konsole by right clicking the .sh file) so not sure how to fix this in SteamOS itself?
Can't currently play from the desktop mode either as the control scheme has a fault when it comes to the name input and wont allow me to select the letters properly using the control scheme. Cant move to select to confirm and other buttons seem to just select random letters. (I'm at the save point just before meeting Aeris).
Any help greatly appreciated!
