Selecting Live track as record destination impacts playability of source sample #8

Scenario:

  1. Select track 5 (Live track 1), press record to start recording
  2. Pitch input on nanoKEY keyboard - nothing happens as input track should be selected
  3. Select track 1 (input source)
  4. Pitch input on nanoKEY keyboard
  5. Finish recording
  6. Adjust loop region to capture pitched portion of sample

One solution could be to have a count-in.

Possible workflow:

  1. Press Deck A Select (controller channel 1) or Deck B Select (controller channel 4)
  2. This selects the deck and sets the input source for all Live tracks to the selected deck
  3. Select Live channel to record into
  4. Press Rec to start recording
  5. Automatically move selection back to the (pseudo) Traktor channel to allow pitching.

When a Live Deck is selected, a dummy deck is selected in Traktor. This avoids a Live loop setting change from accidentally affecting a Traktor deck.
