exception thrown on error #42

due to the way the frontend handles exception for the use of dot-mail, we need to make sure the exception is thrown in the dot-mail send() throw an explicit exception if an error occurs related to https://github.com/dotkernel/api/issues/118

updated error reporting in releases 3.4.6 and 4.0.4
