attribute is expected to be applied on actions instead. That's what the Analyzer is expecting.
We don't plan to address the scenario you've brought up here.
We've moved this issue to the Backlog milestone. This means that it is not going to be worked on for the coming release. We will reassess the backlog following the current release and consider this item at that time. If you enable web api analyzers and use
ProducesResponseTypeAttribute
