Can't do Mon-Wed that week :(. I can probably do almost any time Thurs/Fri (29-30)
It would be great if we could get a calendar invite to everyone once we have a confirmed date/time (if that isn't possible, sending it to MVPs and Employees would also be great as some of our schedules can be quite busy otherwise).
People who want calendar invite, please post your email here, or send it directly to me (karelz@microsoft.com). I don't want to make MS contributors or MVPs special in this group ;)
Thanks for the invite, @karelz . Unfortunately, things are too busy in my professional and personal lives right now to continue contributing to .Net Core. When things (hopefully) clear up in a few months, I would love to be involved again.
@anthonylangsworth understood, no worries. Time for contributions in OSS projects outside of your job come and go. There are often more important things in life to invest your time in.
BTW: Attendance to the standup is in no way obligation to contribute more immediately or in any particular time frame. It is mainly a channel for us to listen what are the key pain points our top contributors face / faced, what ideas they have, questions, etc. It will help us shape the repo, help our active contributors, and hopefully make it easier for new contributors to join us by removing unnecessary barriers, etc. If you feel you have things to say or want to participate in the discussion, feel free to join the standup. If you don't have time at the particular moment, you can watch the public recording later. Or if the time is not right at all for you right now, you can come back in a few months, or a year, or later, and see where we are then. You will be always welcome in CoreFX repo ;)
Hi Karel, Thank you for the invite! I hate to be a pain but is it possible to start the stand up just a bit later or make it earlier? it's 3am in Melbourne, I'm looking forward to attending and contributing but I don't think I'll be coherent at this time 😄
We will try to alternate morning and evening PT slots, to accommodate also Asia/Australia (see my top post). Unfortunately, one of the continents will be always at bad time :(.
Maybe if we do 8-10am PT slot (in future), it will be 17-19 continental Europe and 1-3am for Australia. I will just have to convince @terrajobst @danmosemsft and myself to get up early - that sounds like doable deed ;). Thoughts? I am not sure if I can pull it off the first time though (I'll ask them) -- if anyone else disagrees with the new 8-10am PT slot, please downvote this reply. Thanks!
I'm not likely to be available until after 19:00 Irish time which is 11:00 PT. I'm not sure if hopping on in the middle would be okay or not.
Thanks for the invite @karelz . Please do send me the calendar invite / dail-in details. Just that I might drop off a bit early in case I'm exhausted as it would be midnight over here... But I think I should be able to make it through...

@JonHanna hopping in the middle should be perfectly fine. Don't worry about it. It will give you a chance to participate at least in half of the discussions.
@WinCPP I'll be happy to send you the invite if you give me your email address :)
Invite sent to @benaadams @Drawaes and @rionmonster per their request
@karelz [email deleted] could you please send me an invite and dial in details. I'll try my best to attend.
[email deleted] :)
@karelz I won't likely be able to join that day, but can you please include me in the invite in case something changes?
Invites sent (also to @tintoy per offline request). @onovotny you're "lucky" I know your email 😛
Didn't receive anything here?
@Drawaes check your spam filter. I just checked that your email is added (as of 13h ago). I also sent update just now, just in case ...
@karelz [email deleted]
Got the latest one, I checked my spam filter first... but I assumed Google would never mistake you for spam!... anyway all good here now
@karelz probably can't make first meeting due to travel. Generally an hour later would fit me better. But am pretty pressed for time anyway, so don't change just for me 😉, I like the initiative though.
@karelz [email deleted] please :)
I won't be joining as I have absolutely no time to do so, sorry for that, but I really appreciate the initiative and will watch the recordings afterwards! :)
@karelz Would you mind sending me an invite as well? I know you have my email :).
@karelz [email deleted]
@karelz I can not make it at 10, may join at 11.
@karelz Thank you for the invite! :heart: Regarding the calendar -- [email deleted], please. Thanks!
@karelz I should be able to make it. Thank you very much for inviting me!!
I haven't looked what UK time it is bit I will be there. Sleep is optional anyway :)
Note: 1st standup will NOT be live (we want to experiment with format/content first), but it will be recorded and published.
Is this still valid? If so, what's the point in attending at that exact time?

Yes, to talk to others. Invited people that are here are not mere viewers..
@RheaAyase ok great, thank you!
Yep, 1st session will be closed-door discussion with everyone listed here invited to it. In future sessions we expect to have live streaming and open Q&As to everyone - see repo README.MD for details:
@Drawaes London is 6-8pm (see the link in top post - it has times for Redmond, New York, London and Berlin).
How to join the meeting on Monday: https://github.com/dotnet/corefx-standup-temp/issues/5#issuecomment-310862078
@karelz might be able to join anyway perhaps last part, so please send invite to [email deleted] thanks.
Emails deleted from all replies and replace with "[email deleted]" text. Thanks for the reminder at standup!
Mon 2017/6/26 @ 10am-12 PT (see time converter).
Please vote:
The standup should happen in the week of 6/26-6/30 (due to our limitations).
We picked PT morning as we think that most our contributors are from US & Europe. In future we can alternate morning and evening slots to accommodate Asia & Australia.
