Thanks for reporting this. It's best to remove it as we aren't using it in the eShop project either. @IEvangelist We may have to drop the file entirely. How do we handle redirects and 404s? Can we rewrite this section with our actual implementation with Envoy, and redirect there?

Hi @nishanil - yes, update content to Enovy and then redirect to that.

@nishanil @IEvangelist Guys, you are not patriots of your company! 😉 Look at Reverse Proxy project aka YARP by Chris Ross and Miha Zupan, who are your colleagues. 😄 Envoy Proxy is not Microsoft product. LoL 🤣

@goldsam @nishanil @IEvangelist Ocelot is maintained by me since May of this year, after making of latest 19.0.2 release.

jamesmontemagno commented 1 year ago

Thanks for the feedback, the code in eShopOnContainers has been updated to YARP already at this point and we will be working to update docs/book soon.

@jamesmontemagno

Sad to hear about migration from Ocelot to YARP... 😢 Yeap, Yarp is a good gateway made by Microsoft engineers. I guess, Chris helped your team to migrate the eShopOnContainers solution.

Alive! And Ocelot will live!

Really wondering when people going to post such tickets to .NET communities boards instead of joining the project, help and contribute, to move the project forward.
