EndpointId Maximum Length #1329

We need to store the EndpointId in the database as part of our custom security token cache for a web farm environment. What is the maximum length that can be defined for the EndpointId? I searched the documentation, the .NET reference source, and Google, but couldn't determine anything definitively.
