Hang on creating or opening Poloyglot Notebook

I don't have a reliable repro on this because of the circumstances, but what has happened is:

• My company's IT department mistakenly uninstalled .NET 6 (.NET 7 remained)
• At this point VS Code became unable to create or open Polyglot Notebooks (it just stops with the "progress bar" throbbing). I don't even get the language choice dropdown.
• I had them reinstall .NET 6 but the issue remains.

I have tried:

• rebooting
• uninstalling and reinstalling the Polyglot Notebooks extension
• installing the preview version of the extension
• uninstalling and reinstalling VS Code itself
• clearing the various cache directories in %APPDATA%/Code

Fixed. IT installed the latest SDK 7 (so now I have three) and everything seems to work.
