Shell.BackButtonBehavior interferes with Flyout icon #23015

Open Pantheas opened 3 months ago

Pantheas commented 3 months ago

Description

Setting the Shell.BackButtonBehavior property and defining an ICommand interferes with the Flyout menu icon. On Android, the icon is not shown at all while on iOS the icon is just not working. The menu can still be shown using the swipe gesture.

Once navigation is done to a nested page and back, the icon is shown correctly but not working.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new MAUI project
  2. Add a ShellContent and eventually set FlyoutBehavior to Flyout.
  3. Add Shell.BackButtonBehavior to the first ShellContent page that is shown on app start.
  4. Set the Command property to an ICommand.
  5. Start the app --> Flyout icon is not visible
