What XCode version do you have?

Hi @SenexTech. We have added the "s/needs-repro" label to this issue, which indicates that we require steps and sample code to reproduce the issue before we can take further action. Please try to create a minimal sample project/solution or code samples which reproduce the issue, ideally as a GitHub repo that we can clone. See more details about creating repros here: https://github.com/dotnet/maui/blob/main/.github/repro.md

Xcode version 13.4.1 (13f100)
I have the same Issue, trying to debug from a windows machine. Currently it is not possible to debug on ios without creating a Entitlements.plist file in the platform/ios folder with the following content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
</dict>
</plist>
When the application starts on the ios device, the css/ui is broken. I can't see burger menu button in the navbar for example. Also the background of the navbar is not there. I guess this has to do with the reported error messages.
I have the same issue. Can it be because statusBarFrame is obsolete since iOS 13.0? 'statusBarFrame' was deprecated in iOS 13.0: Use the statusBarManager property of the window scene instead. and src/Platform/iOS/UIApplicationExtensions.cs has the following code: if (!OperatingSystem.IsIOSVersionAtLeast(11)) safeAreaInsets = new UIEdgeInsets(UIApplication.SharedApplication.StatusBarFrame.Size.Height, 0, 0, 0);
Some fixes from iOS based repos now has: if(@available(iOS 13, *)) { statusBar = [[UIView alloc]initWithFrame:[UIApplication sharedApplication].keyWindow.windowScene.statusBarManager.statusBarFrame]; } else { statusBar = [[[UIApplication sharedApplication] valueForKey:@"statusBarWindow"] valueForKey:@"statusBar"]; }
Code above is from here (for reference): https://github.com/sitewaerts/cordova-plugin-document-viewer/pull/141/files
Is there no fix for this?
Description
Getting the following message showing in the Output window on a MAUI app. Used the basic starter MAUI project template and only added the Apple Bundle Signing settings so I can debug on my local iPhone.
2022-07-19 10:11:15.277 Xamarin.PreBuilt.iOS[84701:2252791] *** Assertion failure in -[UIApplication _createStatusBarWithRequestedStyle:orientation:hidden:], UIApplication.m:5461
I have 3 Apps showing the same issue. The message is generated approxe. 2 times per second. This issue was reported back in June on #8074 but was closed.
