Summary

I frequently encounter an error in Visual Studio that affects all my projects. This issue disrupts my ability to write code, requiring me to restart the application to continue working.

I have attempted to resolve the problem using the Visual Studio Installer's "Repair Visual Studio" feature, but unfortunately, this has not fixed the issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new class in any project.
  2. Use ReSharper to perform a rename operation.

These actions seem to trigger the error, although not always, and I'm not certain if there are other conditions that contribute to the issue.

Thanks for the bug report. The stack suggests that the problem happens in CPS, which is not in this repo. Please use the "Report a Problem" feature in VS to file this issue, and attach a recording of the error occurring.
