Exception when using interpolation in a partial view #7611

I'm using:

Code part in layout: <partial name="/Pages/Partial/Menu/Header.cshtml" />

Code part in partial view: <span>@($"User: {Model.AppRequest.UserName}")</span>

Error message/exception/trace:

Same issue/error occur on latest, "Current" version, released on November 8.
