@sharwell @chsienki I just used this template in VS 17.10 and it still had the old netcore runtime...

There's also a bunch of other packages and dependencies that are out-of-date. Updating them causes other warnings like this one about the MSTestVerifier: https://github.com/dotnet/roslyn-sdk/blob/main/src/Microsoft.CodeAnalysis.Testing/README.md#obsolete-packages
