The range of regression for System.Reflection.Invoke is https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/compare/453713a527ae01197b260fbc427918ee93b3cd5b...f36aa7ec736735a3e92046c73d6e03029017b9fa. I don't see any suspicious commit in that range...

https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/commit/f36aa7ec736735a3e92046c73d6e03029017b9fa seems to do some small refactoring on the invoke path so I suspect it is the culprit. We would have to take a look to see why we don't generate good codegen with the new pattern.

I also have a suspicion our Slice is not fast enough. I have the feeling I have seen perf regressions before with introduction of span slice uses.
