Does .NET possess any safety critical certifications? #12796

Original question from Discord, was instructed by tanner to post here:

i'm pretty sure I know that answer, but just double checking that .NET doesn't hold any military certifications such as the DO-178C certification?
we're investigating whether we should even bother trying to implement GLSC in OpenTK 4.0

Currently, we're investigating the feasibility of offering safety critical options within OpenTK as OpenGL has an FAA certified variant called OpenGLSC. However, such an effort would be moot if .NET itself doesn't have any military certification such as the DO-187C certification. I'm hoping someone in the .NET Foundation could answer this?

This might be more appropriate to ask in https://github.com/dotnet/core, but I'm not sure it will get more visibility, so I can leave it open.

My apologies, but if you don't mind let's leave it open? I don't want copy + paste to a new issue when people have already been pinged into here.

Arduino related parts should be also seriously confirmed.
