Can't Upgrade Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.CodeGeneration.Design from 2.0.0-preview2-final to 2.0.0 #2910

Steps to reproduce

VS2017 15.3.3 Create New Project "ASP.NET Core Web Application", ".NET Framework 4.7" Your csproj file should look like this.

Manage Nuget Package offers Updates on all of the following to 2.0.0

This problem has gone away after I did the following;

  1. I am now at Visual Studio 2017 15.3.4
  2. I installed asp.net core sdk 2.0 from; https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/core

I assumed that when I upgraded visual studio it would also take care of the 2.0 sdk. I think the installing of the 2.0 sdk did the trick.
