Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a C# project
  2. Let everything load
  3. Click on somewhere on the code, like a function, parameter or anything

Expected behavior

Get code autocomplete, suggestions and actions

Actual behavior

A tooltip shows up saying "No code actions available"

@pintariching Is this still an issue for you. If you are still having this problem, try disabling Roslynator. What I did specifically was to turn of EnableAnalyzersSupport in the omnisharp.json file:

After debugging omnisharp, the issue was that I had registered an analyzer without realizing it. I had run my solutions through upgrade-assistant tool, and it added a Microsoft.DotNet.UpgradeAssistant.Extensions.Default.Analyzers reference to my projects. Removing them solved the problem.

reference to remove:

    </PackageReference>

It may not be this reference you, just check your projects for analyzers that might be depending on the missing DLLs.
