Accepting override method suggestion starting with "_" deletes part of method name #7284

Open pixlark opened 2 weeks ago

Type: Bug

Issue Description

when I accept a suggestion for an override method starting with "_", it deletes whatever part of the method name I've already typed (except, oddly, for the underscore)

Video.webm

this thread from last month mentions that it stopped happening when they moved to the pre-release version, but this did not work for me. I have this issue on the release and pre-release versions of the C# app. It also happens the exact same whether I use omnisharp or rosyln.

@pixlark would you mind reattaching the video? Seems like its not coming through for me. I wasn't able to reproduce it myself. Is it always consistent for you (even through restarts)? If so if you have a minimal project that reproduces it, that might help.

Additionally, are there any exceptions in either the 'C#' output window or 'Extension Host' output window?
