More information about your system

The dotnet command doesn't work even though I did everything. I made sure to check and if I did everything, went to terminal and created a new one and typed in the command. It didn't show what it was supposed to do.

Description

dotnet is not a commanding working..

dotnet --info

It doesn't work.

Can you confirm that you installed the .NET SDK and VS Code as instructed in steps 1 and 2? If so, can you try the following:

  1. Restart VS Code
  2. Check if you can run the command on a standalone PowerShell or command prompt window outside of VS Code. If it works outside VS Code, try restarting your computer.
