NUnit3 adapter seems to set cwd to some directory other than bin\Debug which causes issues around finding the files to read/write. worked around this by prepending TestContext.Current.TestDirectory to the file paths.

the way VS2015/NUnit3 work is different from how travis invokes the tests. needs some more work.
