Trunk can't connect with ITunes 10 but Tag 08302010 can

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Checkout both trunk and 08302010
2. Try to connect to itunes 10

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
ITunes should show the option to input the numbers both to the tag and the 
trunk.
But it only appears for the tag version of the source.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
My SO is mac os X. ITunes 10.
I tried on my HTC Desire and in the emulator.
Both HTC Desire and Emulator had the same results.

Please provide any additional information below.

I also tried to put a constant pairing code/service name in the trunk 
PairingActivity ( like in the working tag ).  But no results
