Buying a map from a scout, the game crashes and you have to close the tab and reopen it

i'm not seeing this bug anymore. i have a wholly explored world, and i keep buying maps and the game does not crash. i'll keep an eye out for this one.

seems to also be a duplicate of #615 which is a duplicate of #515
