I suspect you delete the zigate.json file
maybe but not intentionally:)
When i try to re-add device :
2020-03-27 09:02:05 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.core] Error doing job: Task exception was never retrieved
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/helpers/entity_platform.py", line 425, in _async_add_entity
raise HomeAssistantError(msg)
homeassistant.exceptions.HomeAssistantError: Entity id already exists: zigate.00158d0001b91c5d. Platform zigate does not generate unique IDs
2020-03-27 09:02:06 ERROR (ZiGate-Decode data) [zigate] IEEE is missing for 06aa, please pair it again !
It's possible that the restart on the new version broke the file ?
No, except if you kill HA during shutdown for example, or something like this I really suggest you to make backup regulary
I restored. it's better. I'm waiting if i received update for these device :)
I got the same issue after updating to the 0.107.* version ; I didn't delete any file though...
Used a backup file and got it working back, seems like this update 0.107.* from HA is broken (had to delete history, zwave integration not working anymore, this issue with zigate)...
maybe you have another problem, broken file system or if on Rpi broken sd card, because my installation is working good using 0.107.* with zigate and zwave
@doudz yeah I found out since then, I'm using HA with docker (on Synology) and they changed the way the container is launched in 0.107.*, solution here if somehow people have the same issue: https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/33048#issuecomment-602032390
good, so we can close this issue
