Add the option to sorts map by date #120

Issue

Provide the option to sort your maps by date. Similar to what is offered in Survey123. Currently Collector only sorts by alphabetical order.

Expected Behavior

Use case: If you have a large number of maps available it can be cumbersome to scroll through them to get to your map. Being able to sort by date so you see the most recent maps first would be very handy. This functionality exists in Survey123.

I agree that would be helpful as we have a dozen maps deployed for some users.

+1 to this. Our enterprise Portal contains hundreds of maps, with the potential for hundreds more as our user base grows. The search is adequate, but having to memorize item names is a bit unintuitive. The ability to sort by date last updated would be appreciated.

edited to add: I concur also with @JCox-Williams' suggestion. For our workflow, the person who owns a Portal item is almost never the person working with it in the field, so distinguishing it by owner/group feels a bit arbitrary.

I would like to see this as well. Or even be able to set a default view of maps be only the Groups and also Current Map. Have "my maps" with all maps shared with the user be a pseudo group under Groups, or give "my maps" the option to be collapsible.

In SF 873, a Groups section was exposed in the maps browse screen. Within each group is the ability to sort by date and title.

Those options are not available outside of the groups though.
