The default workflow for downloading a map area has a default work area extent, I assume based off a default file size, with the only variable being the map detail. This is a nice option for making the process easier for average users.
But I would like to see an option to manually change the work area extent that is independent of the map detail, which allows for adjusting that download size.
Or another option which would be nice to see is being able to set that default file size for the standard workflow. Basically, allow for 2 of the 3 variables to be set by the more advanced users.
Update: I was able to download a smaller extent by zooming in past the highlighted extent indicated initially. In my opinion this is not very intuitive for the user. I would like to see that highlighted area change size as I zoom in, this highlighted area is very useful for the user to know what he/she is downloading (from my experience). But I do like having the detail as a drop-down list I select from, very nice addition.
