Offline Download Speed Very Slow #125

Issue

The time it takes to download a offline area is much slower than current Collector. This is possibly because the settings for the work area extent is too big, and the resulting file size is too large.

Expected Behavior

Downloads should take a couple of minutes. The one succesful download for myself took about 15 minutes, other downloads timed-out and would not progress past 50%.

Map and Credentials

Tried our own Portal and also our Enterprise ArcGIS Online account.

@JCox-Williams what type of basemap do you take offline? vector basemap? Esri world imagery basemaps?

We experienced the same thing yesterday will all the maps we attempted to download. Just using streets, and a small intersection with data.
