Idea - Download Status #134

When downloading areas for offline use, it would be nice if there were a status update on how a download is progressing. It may help debug if you are having problems downloading anything.

For example:

Server packaging appropriate tiles Downloading tiles 1000/5000 Downloading layer 1 of 5 etc.

Also if it could be done in the background like when downloading offline maps for use in Google Maps (with a notification when completed) it would be a nice addition.

I agree that would be helpful, and adding the icon with a count of what needs to be pushed back up would be great too.

not only this, but an initial estimated download size is very important. Current Collector build shows approximate MBs of the offline area. I'd like to know if i'm downloading 5MB or 500MB before i click download.
