Z Factor Difference - Collector versus Aurora #142

Issue

A meter lid was collected with production Collector connected to an EOS Arrow Gold on 5/9/18. The elevation in meters was 198.24 (650.39 feet). The same meter lid was collected 6/19/18 with Aurora connected to the EOS Arrow Gold. The elevation in meters was 202.39 (664.01 feet). A difference of 4.15 meters (13.62 feet).

Expected Behavior

The elevation at a given point should be within 6 inches to 1 foot.

Steps to Reproduce

Collect a point location with Collector and Aurora, then compare the differences in ArcGIS Desktop. Additionally, collect at a know survey point for standardization comparison.

Same antenna height? Were you using a ground-based (or the same as before) augmentation service, e.g., RTK? If so, all nominal, "fixed"?

Yes on 1 – same antenna height.

Regarding 2 – using same KYTC RTK service. Due to canopy/location, both shots were “fixed float”. In the screen shot, are the horizontal and vertical accuracy attributes at the time the points were collected. Worse case on the vertical was .256 meters (10.4 inches) on today’s shot with Aurora.
