Log In Difficulties #19

Issue

With the previous release of the mobile app, on Android, my team noticed severe log in difficulties using Airwatch Tunnel MDM. We don't have the newest release wrapped in Tunnel yet, but when I signed into our organization's ArcGIS Online while on company wifi this morning, the sign in button spun indefinitely without progressing. Restarting the app made no change. After restarting the tablet, I was able to sign in.

When we began the Holistic Testing event yesterday, the sign in process was smooth with no issues.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Expected Behavior

The sign in process should never get stuck on a blank white screen The sign in process should never spin indefinitely on the sign in button The sign in process should not require a tablet restart to sign in

Our field workforce uses both Portal and AGOL. They will need to sign in and out of environments often throughout the work week

Steps to Reproduce

(1) Launch the app

(2) Press "Sign in with ArcGIS Online" - The app spins indefinitely without progressing. Sometimes an app restart works, sometimes the tablet needs to be restarted and the process begun from step (1).

(3) The app opens a blank white screen with no refresh button. The app must be restarted.

(4) The process begins again from step (1)

(5) Eventually, the user may be prompted for credentials and signed in
