Investigate: replace google analytics for website? #589

I don't really like having GA on all our pages, but I do really want to have a rough idea of traffic to the website. Is there a more privacy-forward solution with a free tier, if only for open-source projects?

I think the Sentry is actually a good solution, since we don't need to know marketing things, like country of origin, but instead diagnostic information, like errors and performance.
