Every Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident and foreigners holding long-term passes are given a NRIC/FIN number, hence it is reasonable to omit the explanation for the structure of an NRIC number in a Singapore context. In addition, one other way to get a valid NRIC number would be to use your own, as we cannot provide any more valid NRIC numbers due to privacy concerns.

Reason for disagreement: The lack of transparency in how the NRIC numbers are generated limits manual testing capabilities without an internet connection as there are only a few NRIC numbers provided in the documentation, which means there are only a limited number of inputs. Also, it restricts the users ability to protect and safeguard the user's identity and personal information. In addition to the link, the team should have provided a table of possible sample NRIC number as inputs so that offline manual testing is more streamlined.
This paragraph explains that the input is validated using "the check digit" but does not explain what the check digit is or an alternative method to manually get a valid input to be used besides the link provided.
