Real-Time Collaboration is open sourcing the effort they made to create a fully html5 pedigree viewer. This works on most modern browsers and features panning, zooming, and view modifications.
I am going to incorporate the BootStrap library for this and expand it a little, unless you feel otherwise. This would give us features like: auto-suggest (i'd love to find someone in a tree via typing their name), popups, sliders, etc. We'd have the tools we need. I just wonder if it may not be the best approach. The details can be found here:
