Thanks for the PR! Love the idea, it's a great "easy mode" for people new to crosswords, or perhaps trying to solve quickly :)

Left a small comment around architecture of the way autocheck translates to events -- i don't have a strong preference here so let me know if you'd rather i just go ahead and merge this now!
