Since the FF 55.0.3 update there has been a DownloadThemAll issue. The reduced size download progress pane is now unmovable with the mouse/cursor and the top bar is blank ie. minimize, resize, exit icons are gone, or rather not displaying correctly.
Only the DTA download progress pane has this problem, not the initial add & start panes. The download pane, which starts reduced sized by default, is missing the top area of the leaving a plain blank white empty space, almost.
In fact the minimize, resize and exit buttons are there if you hover the cursor over the top right area. You can then see three very small, thin grey outlined vertical bars, barely separated which correspond to those functions.
The rest of the top tool bar buttons are shown although previously they would display very differently (see attached picture
).
The whole reduced size pane is also fixed in place, you can't move it about the screen with the mouse at all.
Tried rebooting FF and disabling/re-enabling the addon etc: problem persists. Eventually I used a restore point and went back to FF 54.01 and, as hoped, DTA works and displays correctly again.
No corrupted profile or other similar excuse can explain this.
Usual lack of help from Mozilla.
Due to Mozilla switching to the webext api, DownThemAll isn't able to remain compatible with Firefox. It most likely still works in the Pale Moon browser.

Thanks for the info.
Its not really a compatibility issue; it works with the FF 55.0.3 just like it always has. As described it is the GUI of the download progress pane that is slightly messed up. But if that is being caused by Mozilla's changes to FF and it can't be fixed either by them or DTA's creator that is rather disappointing.
I might well try another browser for downloads if this issue remains or becomes more problematic with future FF builds. Indeed I have been conidering Pale Moon as an alternative for some time.
Thanks again for the reply, appreciated.
You can indeed move and resize the download progress pane, but you have to use the keyboard.
To move the window:
To resize the window:
This works in Windows 7. I don't know if it will work in Windows 10.

You can indeed move and resize the download progress pane, but you have to use the keyboard.
To move the window:
Right-click on the left border of the DownThemAll progress window, This brings up a popup menu.
Click on the Move menu option, then use the up/down/left/right arrow keys to position the window to where you want it, then hit Enter. (Hit Esc to cancel the move.)
To resize the window:
Right-click on the left border of the DownThemAll progress window, This brings up a popup menu.
Click on the Size menu option, then use the up/down/left/right arrow keys to make the window the desired size, then hit Enter. (Hit Esc to cancel the resizing.)
This works in Windows 7. I don't know if it will work in Windows 10.

Thanks for the information, very useful but still an undoubtedly crude solution.
Of course it doesn't fix the missing or, more accurately, the wrongly displaying top bar of the download progress pane. It is the FF version update that caused the problem and it should be Mozilla who fix this and not us DTA users who should have to accept the display issue and use of such solutions.
