I wonder whether anyone would be interested in LDAP-backed end-to-end encrypted calendar, contacs and tasks sync across multiple devices. If so, how about having etesync server as part of cloudinabox?
There are multiple actively maintained docker images even (https://github.com/etesync/etesync-dav/blob/master/README.md#docker and https://github.com/victor-rds/docker-etebase/issues/159 ). And there is also a simple example cli client in Python https://github.com/etesync/etebase-py/tree/legacy (handy for debugging, testing, backups, and automation).
I also am not sure if it would be too high risk to run this on the same server as MiaB or rather as part (optional "plugin") of cloudinabox.
Anyone interested?
(it is just an idea now - mainly to gather the resources and ignite some discussion about it being a good or bad thing - IDK...)
