incorrect. The blocking of ios reloads makes all games that used alt dol to
work correctly as they would from the disc channel. The alt dol was a
workaround, and there is zero use for it anymore.

No i agree with the OP on this! although the IOS reload block works for quite a
few... Prime example is MKA which uses the MK7.dol. Wiiflow bounces back to
System menu everytime... So out with the ol CFG... its a shame actually because
i would like to use Wiiflow for the lot... leaving it in shouldn't be a bother
and gives the user another option to try across the vast different ISO combos
out there... why pull it?

Agreed. I see no point in taking options out from the program, it only reduces
it's possibilities and compatibility with some stuff and tools that were made
for older cios. First Hermes support, then IOS reloading on/off, now dol.
Why not just move such things to some advanced tab or so, instead of removing?
Maybe everything works for the devs/testers inside the scope of what they
use/try, but trust me, there are situations where such things are missed.
Im still stuck on version 304 because all others above doesnt allow me to use
Wiiflow the way i like it, for not having some of these issues either broken or
removed.

Wow, i just saw that the newest version doesn't even have IOS selecting anymore.
Many VC games like Zelda Majora's, KoF 96/97, Bomberman Hero, Ogre Battle and
many others, can't run with the recent d2x releases?
Now these games are impossible to run from wiiflow.

Incorrect, on all accounts. You misunderstand how wiiflow handles this.
Auto-ios replaces the need for ios selection, because it will AUTOMATICALLY
find the correct ios for a game. Alt dol was only needed for example mk7.dol
when ios reloading was an issue. With ios reload blocking in the cios, the
main.dol ALWAYS works for EVERY game.
There is no reason to keep unusable options that will only confuse noob users.
Those options effectivley ONLY allow incorrect settings to be accidentally made
by people who do not understand the new dynamic features of wiiflow. If a game
has ios 57 set in it's TMD, it will ALWAYS run best in a cios with base 57, and
thats exactly what happens now. Game wants ios 57? Find d2x with base 57 and
reload to it.

The problem lies in the fact that things which used to work do not now. We're
unfortunately looking for the old fix.
Maybe a clarification on the wiki or faq in order to prevent the push back to
the WiiMenu would be in order, please.

Yeah, having trouble with SSX Blur and Red Steel among others - games requiring
alternate DOLs. I can get all of them to work using other USB loaders but not
the new WiiFlow. I'm sure I'll be told that I'm incorrect though. I'm probably
just misunderstanding this.

I have tested house of the dead 2&3, Mortal Kombat and they do not work on
R417. But did on R416. House of the dead 2 will not work but 3 has no problems.
It would seem that when 2nd dol is loaded up the wii restarts for some reason.
But R417 dose fix the disk loading which did not work on R416 so good job
there. Thank for any work fixing this problem.

There is indeed a reason to keep old 'outdated' functions intact...it's called
'just in case'. I am currently unable to play NSMB in Wiiflow. It kicks
straight back to Wiiflow when you try to run it. I can't even try to use the
alt dol I found because this option is gone. I guess I'll be going back to an
older version of Wiiflow as well. :/

Yup, I had to switch to CFG loader because of this. I don't really see another
way to play, for example, Metroid Prime Trilogy.

I'll revisit the old thread too. Wii Sports Resort? not happening. Get "An
error has occurred. Press Eject bla bla bla"
Works fine with CFG USB Loader
