Hi, the debian dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b failed for me because the build-dependency of python-setuptools is missing.

Indeed. I constantly forget to add that one.

At the same time, I killed CDBS as a dependency. Debhelper 7+ is just enough to install Python modules.
