Don't worry fixing this, the owner of the extension changed and the new owner included malware code in the extension that can steal auth tokens.
I encourage any user to report this extension to the mozilla foundation with a clear explanation of the situation and uninstall this, the risk isn't worth it, at all.
With JavaScript disabled for pamplinmedia.com, the page at e.g. https://pamplinmedia.com/ttt/89-news/546423-437379-sherwood-superintendent-accepts-position-in-beaverton-district still runs JavaScript (to put up a "subscription required" overlay). This JavaScript does not run if javascript is disabled in about:config. Firefox 91.9.1esr for Windows 10 64-bit
