Nothing shows having installed on firefox 88.0.1 #90

I may well be being extremely dim, but having installed this I cannot find any way to activate it. There is no sign that it is installed other than it shows in Add-ons. I cannot find any settings page for it at all. I have closed firefox and restarted.

What am I missing that the instructions say is 'pretty self-explanatory'?

Pastim commented 3 years ago

I found out why this happened to me. By default the extension had "Run in private windows" set to "Don't Allow". The three dot menu item for the add-on then did not show the "Preferences" menu. By changing the setting to "Allow" the "Preferences" menu item appears in the three dot menu item.

I may not be alone, so a hint to this effect in the description would help. Please feel free to close this issue.

Don't worry fixing this, the owner of the extension changed and the new owner included malware code in the extension that can steal auth tokens.

I encourage any user to report this extension to the mozilla foundation with a clear explanation of the situation and uninstall this, the risk isn't worth it, at all.
