Alerts not working #196

Describe the bug

Not sure if this is a bug, but alerts are not showing up for me at all on both Windows desktop and Steam deck.

Unsure if related, but the console is showing over and over: [2024-04-30 19:29:30.666] [287772] [warning] [scwx::network::dir_list] Bad response from https://warnings.allisonhouse.com: (403)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open app
  2. click view
  3. click alerts
  4. empty box

Expected behavior Alerts working in the alerts box

Yes, the AllisonHouse server is down.

Option 1: Use a placefile (https://placefiles.supercellwx.net/wxfanatic/alert-details.php) Option 2: Login to GitHub, and download the development snapshot (https://github.com/dpaulat/supercell-wx/actions/runs/8842657471). In settings, change your warnings server to https://warnings.cod.edu See #192 and #193

great ty! I already had placefiles as a backup but I'm happy to see there is the option to change the warning server is the latest dev build.

Keep up the great work! I absolutely love that there is an open source option for radar!
