Qt platform plugin is not found even though i already install it #227

For some reason I keep getting this message saying Qt platform plugin is not found I'm not sure why even though I just installed it today. I'm not sure if I deleted something I was not supposed to delete yesterday because I was clearing out my storage. I'm not sure if I downloaded the wrong Qt platform too or it is simply just a bug

Can you provide some additional details?

Please provide the terminal output
Windows or Linux?
Do you notice any problems outside of the message?

Nothing out of the download package or installation directory should be removed. This includes keeping the entire directory structure with the downloaded package. Most of the files are required for proper operation.

You should not separately need to install Qt to run the application.

Terminal output: qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "windows" in "" This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. I use window and no I do not notice any problems outside the message

I suspect either of the following could be the problem:

You are running the application without unzipping
You moved/removed required files

To fix the problem, do one of the following:

Download the .msi installer to install/reinstall the application
Download the Windows zip file and extract the entire contents to its own directory. Leave the contents of that directory alone, and do not move/remove any files.

If the application behaves as normal, you can ignore the message.

I downloaded the msi and it worked thanks while we are here there one more bug i forgot to mention. for some reason the track location does not work and this happened before i clear my storage. I checked the location setting in my pc and it said supercellwx was using my location but it just wont appear on the map

And the REF wont show up too the VEL also don't work

If you zoom way out, you may see an icon in an unexpected location. Windows location services can be pretty inaccurate. The development snapshot allows you to connect to an external GPS device for higher accuracy.

And the REF wont show up too the VEL also don't work

REF and VEL should be functional. Level 2 or level 3? I need additional information from the terminal (preferably a full dump). Radar site and date/time are helpful.

In this case, Windows is not providing an accurate location.

Im using level 3

I need the additional requested information to investigate further. Level 3 works for me.

I fixed the REF and VEl problem the color files was broken so everything just stayed blank I will redownload the color files tomorrow thanks for the help!

Also for the track location it used to work but now it don't so I will just have to find a way to fix it somehow
