[MacOS] The $ZSH folder already exists when trying to run ./install.sh #206

During the installation, I have run into a problem. OS: macOS Big Sur 11.4

Steps I did to get this error:

  1. I installed fftw and cmake
  2. Then, when I used $ brew tap homebrew/dupes, I got another error:
    Error: homebrew/dupes was deprecated. This tap is now empty and all its contents were either deleted or migrated.
  3. I used $ brew tap homebrew/core instead, which seemed to work. Then, I installed ncurses.
  4. Then I ran the installation script in my home directory:
    $ ./install.sh

    I got another error:

    zsh: permission denied: ./install.sh
  5. So I reviewed the permissions, ran this commands and got
    $ ls -l ./install.sh
    > .rw-r--r-- ./install.sh
    $ sudo chmod -R 755 ./install.sh
    $ ls -l ./install.sh
    > .rwxr-xr-x ./install.sh
    $ ./install.sh
    > The $ZSH folder already exists (/Users/user/.local/share/fig/plugins/ohmyzsh).
  6. I looked up the config file $ cd ~/.config/vis/config, but I couldn't find it either
  7. So I ran this and got this message.
    $ ZSH= sh install.sh
    > The $ZSH folder already exists (/Users/user/.oh-my-zsh).
    > You'll need to remove it if you want to reinstall.

    So what I got from this is that oh-my-zsh and fig is conflicting with the installation.
