It looks like this might be a general issue with the Android 2.3 emulator http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/8eda9d6c18802b92 Does it work if you manually telnet and 'geo fix'?

Same problem. Wasted many hours. Please fix it. I mean it's 2.3.3.....

You guys are going to need to provide a little bit more info than it "not works"
Did you try to telnet into the emulator with SSH? Does the emulator crash? What happens?

It works fine with 2.3.3, just make sure to select Google APIs (Google inc.) - API Level 10 as targeted SDK. However, if you choose standard 2.3.3 as target, emulator will crash and reboot.

Not works with Android 2.3.3..
