authentication possible? #1

Is it possible to setup authentication so that not just any joe shmoe can access/use the proxy? what does that look like?

Privoxy doesn't seem to support user authentication. If you really want it, you could setup squid (or another proxy), with the containers privoxy daemon as it's upstream. I'd recommend checking the web for tutorials on it, I'm not really an expert on that. Thanks.
